MEET NIKKI, CLOTHING SUPERVISOR COMPLETING THE MASSEY UNIVERSITY RETAIL DEGREE

Nikki is our Clothing Supervisor at the Barrington store in Canterbury. She is currently studying part time to complete the Bachelor of Retail and Business Management at Massey University.

Why did you want to complete the Massey University degree? I wanted to complete the degree to further develop my knowledge and up skill myself. Penelope is currently a Night Fill Supervisor at The Warehouse. She has been working at The Warehouse for 3 years and is currently completing the Bachelor of Retail and Business Management degree at Massey University.

Why did you want to complete the Massey University degree? I wanted to complete the Massey University Bachelor in Retail and Business Management because it explores many aspects of the retail industry, which I can apply to further understanding of my job. MEET JESSE, ASSISTANT PLANNER COMPLETING THE MASSEY UNIVERSITY RETAIL DEGREE

Jesse is currently an Assistant Planner for Men’s and Kids Underwear. He has been working at The Warehouse for 8 years and is currently completing the Bachelor of Retail and Business Management at Massey University.

Why did you want to complete the Massey University degree? I wanted to complete the degree so that I could see how Retail worked from an industry point of view. My Co Op work experience with The Warehouse Group

Like many other students studying a BBus at AUT University, I needed to find a placement to complete my last paper and graduate. I took the paper requirements literally and wanted to find a position where I could actually use my learnings gained over the previous two and a half years and build on them professionally over the nine weeks. I sent my CV away to a number of different roles, got three interviews and in turn 3 job offers. It was a hard choice to make as these were the 3 options:
